|
Gabriel is a very kind standardbred/perch gelding that anyone can ride. This dear gelding was raised and owned by one man in his life and this man died and his family sent him to auction. At the auction he ended up in a direct to slaughter pen. A Freedom Hill Volunteer saw him there and learned of his story and he was purchased from the killers. Gabe is now at Freedom Hill Horse Rescue and ready to find his new home. This horse rides and drives. He is solid and good looking. He is healthy with great feet. He is safe to ride in subdivisions with dogs and children. He is visitor friendly and good for a hubby horse or kids just learning to ride along with other horses. Nice Nice guy. Chance is an aged (?) 15.2 hand gelding. He has been used as a lesson horse. He is an easy going boy. He would be best as a family trail horse. He is tired of the ring. He rides english and western. We haven't tried jumping him. He picks up his feet, loads, ties and loves attention. Riding him is like riding a comfy couch. He has a jog and a lope to die for. He is push button when you find the right button. We have been riding him regularly on trails and he is a very good boy. Safe and lots of fun.

|
Maggie is a 14.2 hand 30 year old QH mare with a registered name of Rose Sayer. She has excellent foundation QH lines. Maggie was saved from Lebanon Valley Livestock Auction. We did DNA testing to find out if she was registered. We have not been able to find her previous owners to get any history on her. She is blind in her R eye and has an enlarged L knee. These injuries are very old and she doesn't even seem to notice.
Can you give Maggie her retirement home? She is sweet, kind and has a happy spirit. You cant help but fall for her when you meet her!
Maggie found her forever home!

Mason is ready for adoption. He was abandoned at an auction at 30 days of age. He suffers from crooked front legs. He had a surgical procedure which strengthened them but they are still very crooked and he will live with certain limitations.
Mason will always be a pasture pal. He is a pony colt and eats very little. He should always be an easy keeper. Mason will not require saddle training so all you have to do is groom him, feed him and love him.

Tia is an aged mare that is very well trained. She was saved from a killbuyer in PA and at the auction she had a note on her that she was a show jumper and had endurance titles. This mare is gorgeous. She is perfect for an experienced mature rider that wants a safe mount that is responsive. She rides english or western. She still enjoys working. She loads, ties, stands for the farrier and loves to be fussed over. Tia is best suited for trails. She has some arthritis in her hocks that may be aggravated by doing lots of circles. Unfortunately Tia is laid up due to a kick. She is available to foster.
